A Shiny New Look for an Old Duster (Thanks to Mothers®)

The lucky Car Craft magazine staffers scored an abandoned '71 Duster for the measley sum of $200. Of course it didn't run, but it was a good start for their latest low-buck hot rod makeover project. After a trip to the local u-pull for a good short block and the cleaning-out of a buddy's spare parts bin in exchange for some lunch money, it was only a few nights of wrenching before they got the ol' slant-6 running - and for a budget price.

Next, they called-upon the boys at Mothers® for their polishing expertise. The mission was to help transform the three-year-old paint job's dull finish to a bright shine. After a careful color-sanding, a lot of buffing and expert application of the new Professional line of products, that old Duster started looking cool.
