June 2003 Hot Rod
The magazine best-known for its knowledge of high-performance street machines reminds its readers
that it doesn’t always ignore appearance. (Though they do seem to admit that they are sometimes guilty of not washing their rides as
often as they should.) In its June issue, Hot Rod gives its stamp of approval for the Mothers®
Clay Bar system, and recommends it for use when “the paint is not oxidized, just loaded with surface contaminants from smog and junk.”
