March 2006 — Mothers to Sponsor Mazda MX-5 Cup
For more than 30 years, Mothers® Polishes·Waxes·Cleaners has been the ultimate choice of true automotive
enthusiasts for quality car care products. Now, utilizing their resources to help magnify that growing market of automotive aficionados,
Mothers® is sponsoring the Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by Hankook Tire, a new race series sanctioned by SCCA.
The series, beginning in the spring of 2006, will entail a total of eight races between 30 cars. Mothers® will help
kick off the inaugural Mazda MX-5 Cup season by supplying a bucket stuffed with Mothers® products to each team, helping them to keep their
charging MX-5s shining bright as they cross the finish line.
In addition to the generous welcome to the series contribution by Mothers® , the premier car care company will also offer
contingency prizes to the three podium finishers of each race. Moreover, they will award a cash contingency of $1,000, $500 and $250 to
the championship points leaders ending the season in first, second and third place respectively.
The Mazda MX-5 Cup is set to kick off in the Spring of 2006. Check your local TV listings for coverage dates and times.
